I built a new house at Madale

Initially, when I built here, there was no problem at all; there was a large open area. However, as the years went by, the city grew, and people built structures that blocked the drainage channels.

As the years went by, when it rained heavily, the water started accumulating and reaching us, the residents of Msimbazi, because the water channels were blocked due to people throwing garbage and building without proper planning.

We have received this project very well because many of us were tired of the constant flooding, which caused us great distress, and some even moved away due to being affected by the floods. Now we will move from here to a safer place, and life will go on.

I am very grateful that I have received compensation and signed for it. I have already started building my new home in Madale. I am constructing a beautiful, modern house, which, once completed, will be impressive. Overall, the project is good because it has helped us; now we live in a dry, beautiful place with clean air. We are very thankful to Mama Samia for what she has done for us.

My expectations are that, from the beginning of the project until its completion, many jobs will be created for Tanzanian youth, and also, once completed, there will be many opportunities. Therefore, I have high hopes for this project.
